Guarantee of GTIN Uniqueness and Authenticity
We guarantee your GTIN(s) will be unique. The issued Certificate of Uniqueness and Authenticity has your number assignment(s), order number and ownership information. The certificate is issued as a Digitally Secured PDF that cannot be altered or rasterized. It requires the most current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (9.1 and above) to open and print.

If you ever come across a product that has the same GTIN number as any you were issued by us, that is someone who is using that number illegally. Please contact us immediately with the information about the product so the pirater can be dealt with.

Guarantee of Bar Code Quality and Accuracy
We guarantee that we provide you with bar code graphic file(s) that are of the highest possible professional printing quality and precision available, and are 100% compliant with the GS1 Standards for bar codes (Vector EPS). We also include high resolution TIF and JPG versions of the barcode graphics for maximum compatibility with any software program. High-res TIF and JPGs are sufficient for printing quality as long as they are output at high resolution. If you discover a mistake in your bar code file(s), we will happily correct the mistake and send you new files immediately. We are not responsible in any way for the output of your files or mistakes you make when applying your barcodes to your artwork or labels. You must follow printing standards on your own to ensure scanability. Make sure and review proofs from your designers or printing professionals and check the accuracy of your numbers and scanability of your barcodes by doing test scans at a nearby store.

Price Matching & Return Policy
We will match any website published standard price of any other approved reseller listed on George Laurer's Authenticated UPC Registration Directory http://authenticatedupcregistrationdirectory.org for quantities up to, and including 1000 numbers. This does not include matching promotional or special sale pricing such as buy one get one free or fishy offers of pennies per number and we reserve the right to refuse to price match if necessary.

If, for any reason you change your mind within 14 days of purchase we will refund your transaction. We are NOT "recycling numbers" as other sites may lead you to believe because we offer a money-back guarantee. We simply believe in supporting you rather than doubting you like other sites. The fact is, once you own your number(s) you may reassign them to new products after a waiting period of 4 years that your defunct product is no longer in circulation, so that is the premise by which we also consider returns and possible buy-backs. We reserve those numbers for reassignment at least 4 years. Our primary outcome is to provide you with 100% certainty that your transaction is risk-free.

We are not responsible in any way for any retailer that does not choose to accept your GTIN(s) and do not refund transactions if you encounter a retailer that does not accept your number after 14 days of purchase, as there are millions of retailers out there who do. You agree to notify EZUPC immediately if you encounter an issue with a retailer not accepting your UPC/EAN number(s) and to provide full information about the retailer and the issue. This way we can better inform our customers and possibly remedy the situation. If you do run into any kind of issue, please call us. We have found that the few times there has been challenges with retailers it has been due to confusion on the customer's part and we can help you sort it out.

 

To date, we have only had two customers who did not do their homework ahead of time and did not know that Kroger and Wal-Mart Corporate (not local vendor program) insist that your numbers come direct from the GS1 vs. through a reseller. This is merely a procedural matter with their application process and has nothing to do with the functionality of the numbers assigned. Those two customers had a contract for Kroger's superstore Fred Meyer and thus they were also working with Kroger at a national/corporate level vs. local and regional stores. We have numerous customers who have had no issues providing their certificate from us to Wal-Mart and Kroger at the local levels. It is simply a matter that the politics have not seeped down through the middle management of those conglomerates, as it is the executives that are on the board of the GS1 and trying to monopolize.

 

We also have reports of Macy's using an outdated vendor form that asks for 6-digit company prefixes as company identifiers. Do not let that scare you. The system is not based on 6-digit prefixes anymore, it is based on 13-digit Global Location Numbers (GLNs). They need to be asking for your company GLN, not your "company prefix". If at any time during the life of your product(s) you go out of business and have no use for the GTINs you purchased from us, we may possibly buy the numbers back from you at the following rates (only in full lots that you purchased them—we will not buy back partial lots or partial orders). We will consider buy-back on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if you are requesting buy-back:

Within 12 months of your original purchase: 50% your original puchase price.

Within 13-24 months of your original purchase: 40% your original puchase.

Within 25-36 months of your original purchase: 30% your original puchase.

More than 36 months of your original purchase: 20% your original puchase.

If we agree to buy back your numbers you will be required to sign an agreement that you are surrendering any ownership of the numbers and the previous transfer of ownership and agreement with us will be null and void. You will not be able to use the numbers again under any circumstance and if it is discovered that you do, you may face legal consequences. We reserve the right to refuse buy-back to anyone at any time.

If you decide you do not want to purchase GTINs and/or Bar Codes and we have not filled your order yet by sending you your files, we will happily cancel your order and refund your amount paid in full as soon as you contact us. Email your request so we have it in writing, and you may also back up your email by calling 303.991.3145.
